Q. what is involved in the initial consult?

A. During the complimentary 20-minute consultation, we will discuss your medical needs or those of a loved one. We will also address how Seneca Medical Advisory can assist you by providing you with a proposed set of services customized to your needs, as well as our fee structure.

Q. IS THERE ANY OBLIGATION TO USE YOUR SERVICES AFTER WE OPT FOR A complimentary CONSULTATION?

A. There is no commitment associated with the complimentary consult.  

Q. HOW DOES SENECA MEDICAL ADVisory’S PROCESS WORK If i decide to use your services?

A. If you decide to move forward, then we will meet for a formal intake assessment, followed by the establishment of a plan.

·      The initial assessment includes:

o   A review of your records, medications and health history

o   Discussion and determination of your needs and goals of care

o   Discussion of Seneca Medical Advisory’s recommendations and proposed role in helping you achieve those goals

·      The action plan will be customized according to your particular needs and timeline after review of your case and the relevant medical literature. In some instances, only short-term research and education will be necessary, whereas in other circumstances, long-term advising for the care of a chronic condition will be desired.

Q. is seneca medical advisory able to provide continued guidance in the case of a chronic illness?

A. Absolutely! If you or a loved one is in need of long-term medical assistance, then we will help you navigate the healthcare system for whatever time period is warranted.

Q. IS THERE AN AGE LIMITATION FOR PATIENTS IN YOUR CARE?

A. Seneca Medical Advisory can assist with the medical needs for people of all ages, ranging from the care of young children through the provision of support at the end of life.

Q. MY PARENT LIVEs IN THE NEW YORK METRO AREA BUT I LIVE FAR AWAY. ARE YOU ABLE TO Assist Him or her?

A. Definitely! We understand how challenging it can be to leave your home and work obligations in order to aid your parents with their medical needs. Please contact Seneca Medical Advisory to discuss how we can help bridge that gap for you.

 

Q. Can you work with me remotely?

A. Yes! Seneca Medical Advisory is based in northern New Jersey, but we are happy to provide services on a remote basis, such as through telephone calls, Zoom, or other communication platforms. Should you wish, we can also discuss travel to medical offices, hospitals or other facilities located in New Jersey and elsewhere in the New York metro area.

 

Q. Are Seneca Medical Advisory’s services covered by insurance?

A. Our services are not covered by insurance at this time.

 

Q. Can you order tests or write a prescription for me?

A. We are happy to work with all members of your medical team to help you receive appropriate care. However, Seneca Medical Advisory does not order tests or provide any type of treatment. In addition, Seneca Medical Advisory does not provide the following services: physical examinations, second opinions, or financial and/or legal advice. Please continue to receive care from your primary care doctor and other licensed medical professionals involved in your treatment.
